New friend from Estonia

I met a new friend who came here to have the 2 days WebMethod 7 training to some of my integration Colleagues. His name is Louis Zezeran from Estonia. The way I describe him is a funny and an energetic guy. Last Friday, I brought him to the movie. Our plan was like this:

• After work straight to the movie and we watched the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" at the Berjaya Time Square
• After the movie around 9.45pm, we brought him to the dinner at KTC Low yat which is one of the famous restaurant that we used to bring out foreign friends for dinner. Wei Khai and I had ordered some of the Chinese food for him and he seems enjoyed it so much.
• And then around 10.30pm, Yuen Chi, Wei Khai and I brought him to a the Passion after the dinner session and we had heaps of fun. We were chit chatting about our family background and get to know each other at the first session. Then, Wei Khai had ordered a half dozen of beer during the chatting session. We don't really mingled around the club where by we just sitting at the corner which is just infront of the pathway to the toilet. :P After we had bottoms up the beers, we went to the dance floor and DANCEEEE!!! We don't really get drunk but the feel is just niceeee. We spent our time there till around 1.45am and we left since Wei Khai wasn't comfortable with the environment :)

Saturday in the next morning was quite hectic but I had heaps of fun hanging out with Yuen Chi and Louis. I went to the Java User Group with Yuen Chi at the Monash University Sunway. We were there around 11- 12.45pm and quite a number of people turns up. There is a speaker who used to work with "Google" has talked about " How to change the world with Web 2.0". The talk wasn't too technical but it's more high level towards the business world. The session was ended at 12.45pm.

After the Java User group session, Yuen Chi and Me was directly drive to Louis hostel and we brought him to "Yong Tau Foo" in Ampang. Initially, we planned to bring him to the Batu Caves after the lunch but unfortunately it was heavy rain. Hence, we went to KLCC straight after the lunch :) We spent about 2 hours in KLCC. Louis managed to get himself a nice, branded belt with a reasonable price as KLCC is having a sales right now.

Around 4.30pm and when the rain stopped, we went to Batu Caves where we had planned it earlier. Along the journey to the Batu Caves, Yuen Chi and Louis was talking about the Integration and Business Stuff while I am driving without knowing what they are talking about. Oh come on! Give me a break! The following are the photos that we took at Batu Caves and we were there about an hour. Lastly after the Batu Caves, I brought Louis to a nice dinner with my family and night KL view @ Gas Online in Langat. He really enjoyed alot with the local food that we ordered. Glad that he enjoyed himself during the weekend.

Overall, last weekend plan was great and I had heaps of fun going out with Yuen Chi and Louis during the weekend. Thanks for the accompany Yuen Chi and the JAVA User group meeting was really informative. By now, I think our friend Louis is on the flight now going back home to his country Estanio and adios my friend.

Who is taller?

The pantry color is quite striking but I think it is good for our eyes since most of us are wearing glasses. In fact, it's our company color and we called it "CW Color". Nice tho!

The most memorable event in year 2008

Last Saturday was the first time of CustomWare's company event. We had the paint ball session@ Xtion Paintball park near Bukit Jalil then bowling session at Sunway Pyramid and following by dinner @ Victoria Station in Subang,Taipan. We were gathered near by the entrance of the PaintBall park around 8.30am to 9.00am. Some of us were early and some of us were late. The Xtion Paintball park was opened at 9.00 sharp in the morning and we started to gathered in front of the receptionist. Some of us was wearing shorts and there are 2 among us were wearing the "Yellow Foreman Costume". You might be curious about it now but stay tuned! You will understand what I mean by Yellow Foreman Costume later!

Then we started to took turn to fill up some forms. Once we had finished filling up the form, we were asked to take a sit for the briefing session. The briefing was quite funny tho....full of funny funny questions! And that's where we dragged our time the most!

We were introduced with some Safety Awareness, the functionality of paint ball gun, the map of the field and some advice on what should do and what shouldn't do!! After the briefing, we were ordered to grap our equipment which includes * a stink Mask*, *paintball gun* and a lousy *vest*. Somehow, we still get alot of bruises after the game! Among 23 of us, we have divided into 2 teams where Rob was leading Team 1 and CC was leading the second Team. For those who do not know who is CC and Rob, both of them are my pay master :P

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture alot of photos during the bowling session as I wasn't feeling well at that time. About 2pm onwards, I started to have headache and feel very tired as the weather was bloody hot + extreme exercise during the Paint ball session. We started the bowling session around 4pm and ended around 5.30pm. After that we started our journey to the Victoria Station Restaurant @ Taipan Subang, I remembered the only that I had that night was "Panadol" and that was my dinner as I was so sick after having some chocolate creams and been vomitted few rounds in the toilet. Besides, I think the set dinner that I ordered was Salmon steak+Lobster soup+Ice Cream Dessert and a cup of coffee. Too bad, I wasn't to fight for the food and ended up my food was divided like the "Piranah Attack"... fast finished!

Overall, the whole event was cool just that some of us aren't feeling well after the paint ball session. I would like to thanks to our Management team for giving us such an opportunity to spent time together + contributed the event expenses too. Besides, the dinner was also the farewell party to one my our beloved friend, DEB. It's very nice to know and work with her in the past 2 years. Here, I wish her all the best and hopefully we will meet again somehow somewhere in this world. Thanks alot Deb! I am gonna miss you!
